Farmers were very receptive. At the end of the program three farmers who are practicing ShivYog krishi, shared their experiences and it was very impressive to the participants. Even though the sky was clear in the beginning of the program, there was shower during the first and second part of the shivir. It is a delight to share that, all the 7 ShivYog Krishi Shivirs conducted by the Hubballi Forum, was always accompanied by medium to heavy showers).

It was known from the head of KVK with much of joys that Shri Radha Mohan Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture, Government of India, has sent a Circular and directions to conduct ShivYog Krishi Training programs in the benefit of farmers and shall allot a time slot for the same. A copy of the same is shared herewith. The circular was sent to the Hon’ble Ministers of Agriculture and Nodal Officers of ATMA Scheme of all states and union territories.

It is a great opportunity for us to use this circular to motivate all the KVKs in the state to hold ShivYog Krishi Shivirs. They would take care of inviting the farmers. Central ministry is following up with the KVKs to report on the activity conducted by them. It is a good time to focus on KVKs. It is also learnt that the central government has released a separate fund for this program.
